In both threads the matter is same. Both the senior ladies said same thing, no difference.
If silence or ringing follows the prompt to please hold, then yes, the correct selection is Hung up on hold. If the caller disconnects during the prompt to hold, then it is Wrong number/nobody there/hung up during bridge greeting. "Please hold for an op...", the caller has not yet made it to hold status.
Check the call,
if you hear "Please hold for an operator" ....Hung up.
If you hear "Please hold for an op...",.........Wrong Number.
