That's a good idea, send a email, because you're supposed to hear at least the agent's voice to determine if there is an invitation. For example (and this is a very usual case) let's say A= agent and B= client :
A: bla, bla bla(greeting, introducing, etc).... would you like to come in to check the vehicle?
B: I want to know the price range on that model
A: OK, well those are around $xxx
B: mmmmm. OK thanks!.
If we can't hear the agent side is imposible to know if there's an invitation which is the main goal for this category.
What do you think about that?
